Nike and Fanatics: Who’s responsible for MLB’s new uniforms?

    Can't say I'm a fan of the changes in the unis so far but I also feel like it's been blown way out of proportion. The article does a good job of breaking down where a lot of the decision making actually came from with these changes and why a lot of people's anger at fanatics (while justifiable with a lot of past experience), may be a bit misplaced in this instance.

    I think at the end of the day though, if we are asking who is responsible for the new uniforms?, the answer really comes down to the MLB. They signed off on the changes at the end of the day. If you are shopping for sub contractor and don't like the work that someone does, you have them fix it or move to someone else. MLB clearly was fine with the changes and has the ultimate final say of the specs if they so choose.
