... yeah, I have been on a kick lately of attending as many sports games as I can at my local Uni which isn't particularly known for sports. Sometimes I got to a game where our side is getting really killed and think "now I know what George Will was talking about when he wrote about the Chicago Cubs", but that's not quite right because the thing Will was saying wasn't that the Cubs played badly but rather the Cubs would build him up to knock him down and leave him disappointed. Which might be worse than just playing badly.
Sometimes though I do wonder if New York City would have any football teams if American football had promotion and relegation like that other "football".
