    GSP also trying out grappling in his post-MMA career, I kinda like it. It's less obviously stupid than all these washed out MMA fighters fighting amateur youtube boxers at least.

      I understand why they fight amateur youtubers, big payday. I just dont have aaaany intrest in watching those. Grappling on the other hand is almost more interesting than MMA, so this is excellent...

      Grappling on the other hand is almost more interesting than MMA, so this is excellent news. Never been a Rockhold fan but will be checking this out.

        He hasn’t competed in pure grappling in 18 years, and he didn’t do very well at ADCC 2005 either — one win, one loss. He will absolutely be annihilated by any of the top ADCC competitors, but...

        He hasn’t competed in pure grappling in 18 years, and he didn’t do very well at ADCC 2005 either — one win, one loss. He will absolutely be annihilated by any of the top ADCC competitors, but depending on who the match is it might still be competitive and entertaining.

        As I said, it’s less stupid than an MMA fighter doing a boxing match. Most MMA fighters basically do not train straight boxing — it’s too different and constrained to be applicable, but many MMA fighters do traditional BJJ training.
