I'm particularly excited about this because I have season tickets, Just 5 or 6 years ago, this team was rumored for relocation due to poor performance and attendance. New owner came in, made a ton of great changes, invested in the team and now they're a Stanley Cup contender with sellouts most nights.
The lease also comes with much-needed development in the area surrounding the arena. Currently, there's really nothing nearby except for a single mediocre restaurant. This will give a place to spend some time before or after events.

Backyard Bistro’s Cobb salad is totally decent if you get the fried chicken substitute.
The weird thing about that restaurant is that their catering is actually quite good. It's just their actual restaurant that's consistently meh.
