Full, Final Standings

I missed most of the second half of the season, but at least caught the last race!

I was really hoping rookie Jake Hughes (Neom McLaren Formula E) would do well, but he turned out to be more of a quali driver; could never keep race pace. But he did finished 12th in the standings, ahead of his teammate, Rene Rast. I suppose that could be viewed as a solid first season.

Overall I've only been watching Formula E since about 2021, but it seemed like this year was less bumper cars than the last two. The poor racecraft definitely turned me off from the series at times.

Looking forward to Season 10!

I got to catch the race this past Sunday, first time seeing F1Ae. Was interesting to say the least. Not hearing to roar of the engine and the whine of the electric power engine/engineering was quite different than I expected. But I did enjoy the race and got to see Michael Andretti in the garage area/pit area with the other team members talking about different strategies for the car after the front wing got damaged. Hopefully I can get more coverage here from the TV networks and F1Ae series?

Unfortunately, trying to follow Formula E in the US is terrible, in my experience. As far as watching it goes. The Free Practice sessions can be watched on Formula E's YouTube channel for free, but qualification and the race itself are typically paywalled. In the US, I think CBS has the rights to Formula E.

There was one race early in this year's season where CBS was suppose to have it online. I went around in circles on their website trying to find it for awhile. When I did find eventually find it, they weren't even showing the race live. It got moved due to college football or basketball to like 11pm. I prefer watching races live as much as I can, which means sometimes I am up at odd hours, just like for F1. Plus, CBS was only showing the race; none of the quali session.

The best way I've found to watch quali and the race is to use a VPN to the UK and then go to YouTube. In the UK, Channel 4 Sports has a YouTube channel where all Formula E race sessions can be watched, live or otherwise.

Yes I am very much like you on my sleeping habits "all hours" and preferably live performances. I honestly caught this race by pure luck, I was flipping through the channels and caught it! And yes...

Yes I am very much like you on my sleeping habits "all hours" and preferably live performances. I honestly caught this race by pure luck, I was flipping through the channels and caught it! And yes it was on CBS (and for most all the open wheel cars.) I did get to see Michael Andretti as I said, but man I didn't even recognize him at first how he's changed and aged, it was incredible. And yes I'll definitely plan to look more closely on YT for the F1Ae races and CBS.
For me it's just normally USA TV for my NASCAR related races, sometimes ARCA Races (mostly Flo Racing for ARCA though.)
