He's done dreadful things but even he should be protected from this kind of violence inside a federal prison environment. And yet, he can't possibly be suffering even a tiny fraction of what a single one of his victims goes through each moment of every day for the rest of her life.

I find myself very torn here. On the one hand, our prison system is horrific and criminals do not deserve violence done upon them. We must fight to protect the rights of the most reprehensible to protect the rights of us all.
On the other hand, that man abused over 500 children and was protected time and time again, and I have a very difficult time mustering any sympathy given the amount of pain and anguish he inflicted.
An aside. It's worth contemplating and introspecting on feelings. Bloodlust and schadenfreude are not free. Those feelings exact a price from the soul in order to be felt.

The fact that Nassar had survived this is insane considering the amount of time he was stabbed and where he was stabbed at. The person that stabbed him really wanted him to suffer or him dead....

Most likely he will be moved to another federal facility. I'm just surprised it took this long for it to happen.
