I have just spent the last hour watching the Disability Premier League final at Sofia Gardens in Cardiff. It is still ongoing but it has been a great game to watch so far. The Tridents and the Pirates are battling it out.
It is being shown on Sky Sports currently here in the UK and listening to the descriptions and background of the sport has been fascinating.
Only in its third year it pulls together three type of disability, physical, deaf and learning and mixes them all together in the same squads.
The cricket play has been excellent up til now and as I said I have enjoyed what I have seen, its a shame that I stumbled on it accidentally as I think it should be advertised more and I hope that Sky can see their way to in the future showing more of the other matches that lead up to this final.
