What did you do this week (and weekend)?
As part of a weekly series, these topics are a place for users to casually discuss the things they did — or didn't do — during their week. Did you accomplish any goals? Suffer a failure? Do nothing at all? Tell us about it!
I made a liter of the spicy coffee I bought in a french press. Bit of a bad call, let's just say I could feel it the next day, but I'm honestly trying to drink it all so I can at least justify buying something else. It wasn't unpleasant to drink, but I want something else.
I bungled my first PR to the NixOS package repository, and am cleaning the mess up. It's fun, but I really should've done a bit more research before jumping in. I feel weird as a non-developer using a distro like this mostly for gaming, but it's also just a great distro with every package under the sun. I guess my next goal is going to be declarative user package management which makes more sense for me than using nix-env for everything.
