Monday I had my eye on my phone, veered off the sidewalk, slipped on ice and broke my right shoulder. Haven't been doing much of anything since. My arm is so swollen it looks like I have muscles (I'm way skinny) and it almost makes me want to work out! I guess the highlight was when I was lying half asleep in bed, trying to come up with a better ChatGPT prompt for my broken arm. Don't know what happened to my brain there. I'm trying to work out the enigma of what exactly makes the pain flare up, sometimes it feels like pure random. A broken arm is a good exercise in mindfulness; do anything slightly absentminded and instant pain! Typing left-handed is annoying, though. But there is a certain pleasure in not having other goal than making the day pass by.

Yesterday we buried my grandmother. She was 99 years old. It was a strange day of people I don't remember and extended family I rarely or never see.

Husband was out of town this weekend and I was working on solitary projects, so I treated myself to breakfast out.
