What did you do this week (and weekend)?

Saw Galliano and The Brand New Heavies last night. Amazing gig that was absolutely worth the money.
Went to a techshow for my industry. This was my first one, and it was really cool and a lot of fun.
Fun week as I had a team offsite event where we played some Top Golf and got some dinner. My friends and I also finally managed to grab dinner together. We're really good at saying we're down to do something but then we suck at executing on those plans so the rare occasions we do meet are special.
A couple of my coworkers and I snuck out early today and went for brunch. Quiet day, most of our team wasn't in, including supervisors, including the users we support...so we left! Went to a nice little cafe like 15min from our office. Chatted and chilled for an hour or two before heading home.
Tomorrow, one of those coworkers and I are going to check out a local Laotian restaurant. He says the place is fire, and the cocktails are great, so I'm excited.
And since I'm in the DC area, going to try to check out the cherry blossoms around the Tidal Basin (Live view here). I think this weekend is this year's peak bloom. I wanted to go last year, but didn't. Mostly because I got lazy, but also because a couple really windy storms came through right after the peak bloom and blew away a lot of the petals. So far, weather seems to be cooperating this year. Gonna try to do that tomorrow or Sunday.
I brought a friend to her first RPG session. It was a local drop-in group for Shadowdark. I've been telling her about it, and she had a great time. Now I just need to get some content so I can start running games for my first time.
