What did you do this week (and weekend)?
As part of a weekly series, these topics are a place for users to casually discuss the things they did — or didn't do — during their week. Did you accomplish any goals? Suffer a failure? Do nothing at all? Tell us about it!
This was the first week back to normal as the kids started school again after 6 weeks of vacation. We have been back to work for a couple of weeks, but it still felt a bit like vacation as we didn't have to think of getting up early for school, make their lunchboxes and so forth. On Wednesday there was a partial solar eclipse here in Denmark, and we all ventured outside too see it along with practically the rest of the city in the green area where the low sun was visible. It was fun, but admittedly also somewhat anticlimactic as the eclipse was about 85%, so the effect could only be observed through our solar filter glasses. The sun is so bright that even with 85% covered, it didn't really get noticeably darker and I am sure that if you didn't know about it, you wouldn't have noticed anything being off. Hoping to see a full eclipse some day, though that will require some travel as the next one in Denmark is in several hundred years.
I saw Franz Ferdinand live, they were amazing. Its was pretty obv the crowd only knew Take Me Out but the band seemed alright with that and they stuck a guitar solo in the middle of it
