I watched the movie "Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain". It was about the Bhopal tragedy which killed over 10000 people and affected over 600000 people.

The thing that I like about the movie is also the thing I dislike about it. It was a bold movie, it didn't hesitate to show uncomfortable scenes. It didn't oversimplify the politics behind the tragedy to focus all the blame on a single person. It showed how people justify their wrong doing to themselves and others. But the movie was too soft on the culprits IMO, I would've liked it more if Warren Anderson has been portrayed little more evil.

    Also its late monday here.

That's pretty much all I did this weekend. Why? Because the real challenges I need to face are both not urgent and fairly intimidating, in the "what if it does work out" way – which is why I've been procrastinating through the last couple of days.

But it's also painfully obvious that things never really work out unless you work on them. Guess I'm gonna have to put my back into it once again.

Put up some shelves, did a bit of wedding planning, had dinner with my sister and lent her some protesting supplies, and played a frankly embarrassing amount of civilization VI. I still can't get the game to click in my head the way civ IV and V do. I can barely get ahead on king, I'm too scared to even touch deity difficulty. I think I'm making some really poor decisions with regards to monument timings, and early military undercommitment. The default barbarians in this game are more brutal than Civ V barbs with "raging barbarians" enabled if you leave them unchecked.
