What did you do this week?
As part of a weekly series, these topics are a place for users to casually discuss the things they did — or didn't do — during their week. Did you accomplish any goals? Suffer a failure? Do nothing at all? Tell us about it!
My mother went to the 'medics' (public healthcare system, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!) to get back the results for the coughed-up material I talked about here and here, it kinda appears it was a Tuberculosis/Not-Tuberculosis exam. Okay? I'm gonna assume it's budget cuts. (It said no, if you're not sure. I've had this thing for years, so I would have been surprised if it suddenly became something this serious now.)
Anyway, my nose is practically fine so... I made it? I guess there's at least one thing this pandemic has helped me to do. The 'snot' that's left is more often solid than liquid so that's definitely changed.
One of the things I found with some 'google-fu' for the first plea for help/advice is that apparently people who ditch nasal decongestants can't tolerate them if they try one again, which sounds like a fun experiment but it was like, 4 AM and it's technically a topical decongestant, so I'm not very willing to dare it all for some funny agony.
Less fortunately, someone in my family seems to have joined an multi level marketing/pyramid scheme and has posted a dozen+ status updates about it on WhatsApp.
