What did you do this weekend?
As part of a weekly series, these topics are a place for users to casually discuss the things they did — or didn't do — during their weekend. Did you make any plans? Take a trip? Do nothing at all? Tell us about it!
I entered a state of being that I hadn't felt since middle school on Saturday night. Explaining "vibes" is pretty much impossible, but if you can imagine a warm, summer-time heat being killed by air conditioning and a reclusive hatred of the outside world, that's a pretty good descriptor for the atmosphere.
I drank lots of coffee, talked to myself for an hour, and realized that VNs can be fun.
The rest of the weekend was a bit tiring, though.
A daughter of a close relative had a birthday and so people set up a party for her and I went there, also with a me getting my hair done for the first time in 3 months and shaving all my facial hair off a day prior. I basically went from Diet Afro to straight and from front to back.
The gift my father decided to give was a game where you need to take some stuff out of a sick character with a small tool without touching the iron bits surrounding the small holes. I found it a bit boring at the time, but it's an OK gift. I spent a lot of my time just playing on the phone anyway. The cake had a strawberry filling (is that the word?) A
and tasted good. I took a slice home for my mom, who didn't go because a relatively close relative of hers died.
