What did you do this weekend?
As part of a weekly series, these topics are a place for users to casually discuss the things they did — or didn't do — during their weekend. Did you make any plans? Take a trip? Do nothing at all? Tell us about it!
Several of my partner's friends were in town this weekend for a wedding, so we hung out with them Friday night and Sunday afternoon.
Saturday morning, I had coffee with somebody I hadn't been in touch with in years, and I ran into an old coworker I also hadn't seen in years! Got to catch up with both of them, which was great.
On Saturday night, we took the travel trailer and all three dogs out to a friend's house for her birthday party. I hadn't met a lot of her friends that were there, so that was awesome! The dogs got plenty of attention, too. :)
Picked up more tools from auction on Friday, ran errands on Saturday and worked in the garage.
Sunday spent four hours being stabbed thousands of times to get my first tattoo. One session down, two more to go.
I finished sewing a muslin draft of a pair of shorts most of Saturday. I wore myself out so much, com. Sunday I thought it was Saturday again lol. I started the final version of my shorts and am super excited to be making them! I don't have a surger so that's kind of a bummer but I'll make do. Gotta really make sure any raw edges are finished since I'm using linen.
