    Yeah, that's the hardest of hard passes. You may be able to push ads to my device, but I'll be damned if I let you make sure I'm watching them.

    PreShow uses an app to check your eyeballs are focused on the screen showing each ad. He describes it as creating "a transaction between you and the brand."

    This doesn't sound very accessible. What about people with a lazy eye, one eye, extreme light sensitivity requiring dark lenses, blind people who want to listen to movies, etc? Should they not be...

    I can't imagine ever wanting to sit through ads rather than just pay for a movie ticket. Adding in eyeball tracking just makes it creepy. Video ads are practically a foreign concept to me at this...

    Video ads are practically a foreign concept to me at this point; I have completely cut them out of my TV diet, I pay for YouTube Premium, and I use adblockers. The only place I consistently see ads are at the movie theater when I make the mistake of getting seated too early.
