People don't realise, most of the time, that the Dark Web is simply another internet that you have to connect to via VPN and/or Tor. There are lots of Dark Webs, not connected to each other. The Internet as it is known, is simply a bigger public connection but all the same principles are applied. Connect, go to site. It's not dissimilar from when you connected to the internet via dial up.

This will be the next step, VPNing in to a Dark Web rather than simply using a VPN to mask activity on the public internet.

They will never block piracy, only make it more awkward. The same with drug supply. The same with sex trades. If people want it, they will find a way.

Yeah, There's many torrents on overlay networks like I2P that can only be downloaded through those. There's also decentralized file storage that's pretty much impossible to erase.

I'm just waiting for the Streisand effect to start kicking in. I've already had it up to here with Disney's incredibly shitty "autoplay" where, after 3-4 episodes, it basically becomes permanent...

I've already had it up to here with Disney's incredibly shitty "autoplay" where, after 3-4 episodes, it basically becomes permanent "Are you still watching?" after every subsequent episode. Its ridiculous, can't even lose the remote or the TV turns into a potato

Because pirated content does get uploaded on there (it doesn't stay on for long tho) and will get uploaded in the future.
