Ah this is cool! The concept of combining feeds is definitely not new, I remember combining my social feeds on HTC Blinkfeed 10 years ago. However, I think this is one of the first I've seen for the Fediverse? I don't follow Fediverse stuff too closely. I'm interested to see how YouTube integrates here because I don't think they follow any Fediverse protocol.
The UI of Surf doesn't look that great in my opinion, at least based on the screenshots in the article. It's got its own weird mix of fonts and then it seems to also bring fonts in from the feeds you connect. That being said, it does have an interesting structure. I wish them the best of luck!
