    I've always been intrigued by their devices, though I could never justify the price of them. Plus I think they're kind of ugly (I'm sorry). So when I wanted an easy way to get my crappy poetry...

    I've always been intrigued by their devices, though I could never justify the price of them. Plus I think they're kind of ugly (I'm sorry). So when I wanted an easy way to get my crappy poetry onto paper I just bought a real typewriter, and I love it...sometimes. I have written a handful of notes and letters as well and it's nice a little semi-hand crafted sentiment. Except when I want to write later at night I can't because it's loud as hell and keeps my wife awake. I'll give the computer that win.

      Yeah, if I could get 90% of the way there with an Alphasmart off of eBay or an eink tablet with a Bluetooth keyboard, it doesn't make sense for me to pay that much more for a boutique device. I...

      Yeah, if I could get 90% of the way there with an Alphasmart off of eBay or an eink tablet with a Bluetooth keyboard, it doesn't make sense for me to pay that much more for a boutique device. I trust my brain would find a way to waste time either way. Manual typewriter is interesting though.
