You would not believe how much headache this has caused me when it comes to remembering my pin for back cards.
I've come across handheld payment devices where the key pad was flipped(phone to calculator style), I locked my card for the first time that day. Couldn't figure out what the heck was going on the first two times when I just impulsively did the same thing twice, thinking I must have gotten the number wrong, than the third time I messed up trying to convert the hand motion. I considered using a pin with just the middle row after that, but decided that was just nuts.
