    Another YouTuber that's basically turned me off tech videos, in general. JRE's videos could be a lot more informative if he'd stop levelling the same childish Apple jokes every 15 seconds; but I guess his fanbase likes it.

    It's a real shame, because under the snarky surface commentary there's indeed valid criticisms and viewpoints made (the sapphire crystal glass covering the camera lens, for example); and his videos could be a whole lot better if he focused on that instead of pandering to his comment's section.

      That and, while the Mohs hardness scale testing of the screen is a seemingly valid method for testing durability (from my layman perspective, at least), him spending the majority of the video just scratching the shit out of the rest of the phone with a knife blade, trying to pry parts off with the blade tip and holding a flame to the screen doesn't exactly scream "legitimate durability testing" to me. I wish he actually put some more effort in and tested how much actual force would be required to do damage to certain parts.
