So it looks like Facebook has never had much of a liberal bias? It's amazing that on reddit that this is label as "US Internal news". Fucking ridiculous

Facebook got caught with their hands in the cookie jar for the US, but this clearly isn't just happening in the US. You know Russia is pumping millions into social platforms and causing chaos....

Reddit is involved with this shit as well or TD and everyone subscribed would have been banned long ago.

Yep, I would have given them the benefit of the doubt before, but they have dragged their heels on every single action taken. That sub-reddit should just not even exist.

Removing a subreddit dedicated to a politician and now president creates high potential for external groups seeking to discredit a political faction by simply posting hateful content on the related forums.

I'd accept that but TD had broken the TOS numerous times. I mean if they can subs, they need to ban the users in that sub to or you are just shuffling shit

Reddit account bans or IP bans are roadblocks that can still be overcome. The mods maybe should have been replaced but I don't know the specifics of what they allowed or encouraged.

Replace the mods with who? That just seems like it would open them up to even more corruption. The admins ability to oversee what the mods motives are is almost non existent. That's the problem...

Replace the mods with who? That just seems like it would open them up to even more corruption. The admins ability to oversee what the mods motives are is almost non existent. That's the problem with allowing people to control massive communities with millions of people anonymously.

The way reddit was built worked fine while it was still relatively small. But the way the site works simply is not compatible with the scale it is at. There needs to be some serious reform from the ground up.

Admins can see what mods remove and allow (by not removing something that is clearly visible). You can't exert influence without giving off some indication of what your motives are. The admins...

The admins could talk to some users on the sub that seem able to do the job. If they were wrong and the person is corrupt, they can replace that person.

Just providing the counter argument. You've presented valid points, resolving the issue does have a set of potential difficulties.
