    It looks like you can bypass this functionality; You have to click "Need help?" in the password dialog, upon which facebook presents you with alternative methods. Dark UI was never more interesting!

    While the BI article also focuses on their contact harvesting, I decided to use the TDB article instead, it's more widely posted and what's a single nuke during the fallout-type apocalypse?

    I can see why they wanna do this tho. The growing part of their userbase is mostly tech illiterate, and this seems to be an effort to make it easier for them to sign up and not have to go to...

    I can see why they wanna do this tho. The growing part of their userbase is mostly tech illiterate, and this seems to be an effort to make it easier for them to sign up and not have to go to someone who could tell them "FB? It's lame & sketchy." Because there are so many people out there that can't find their email app on their phones and copy-paste a code or click a link to save their lives (looking at you, mom...)
