    There's a quaint word that was once used for groups and people like the flat-earthers: "Harmless."

    "Oh, don't mind them, they're a bunch of crackpots, but they're harmless. That old man across the street who talks to his cats? He's completely harmless." The author perceptively finds that the flat-earthers he meets are mainly just lonely people who have come together into this harmless group.

    Except this is the Millennium. The information & surveillance age. Nothing is harmless. Too much information is just as dangerous as misinformation. Triggers lurk behind every descriptive sentence. No one and nothing is harmless because it will ultimately be seen by everyone.

    But don't mind me.
