With the state of the web the way it is, it is pointless trying to hide identifying metadata from a third party. What we should be doing is pooling requests with other users, and burying real requests with fake, spurious requests. There is no other realistic option. A user can't rely on a third party not being a bad actor, so the best a user can do is bury their real activity under a mountain of plausible deniability and bullshit data.
