I've been big on Internet privacy for a long time now. Tried my best to remove most of my digital footprint. I didn't find it to be worth the effort. There is a time cost and a social cost. I still try to do the little things (activating the tracking blocker in my browser and using private mode for most websites) but more than that feels like a lost cause. In many ways this feels similar to climate change and other big issues.
