My first phone, and at times it feels like it was everyone who was alive at the time’s first mobile. Its predecessor the 3210 sold more units overall, but it was the 3310 that became iconic. I don’t know quite why, but possibly because it coincided better with mass adoption of cellphones, so as time went by, even if you didn’t personally own one, it became cemented in public memory as the phone of the early 2000s.
