When the price fell from around $850 to $400, that said to me that they failed to market it as a flagship and it wasn't meeting some very basic user needs and that they probably wouldn't be around for long. The few articles I read about them only seemed to confirm that. I am slightly sad essential and it's next phone are "going away" because its one less company competing in a marketplace where OEM's seem to becoming more and more monopolistic.
