This is a really bad article in my opinion, and I'd like to find a replacement link that more appropriately describes what Corellium does and why Apple sued them, but they're not just a "security startup", instead, they offer complete iOS device virtualisation in the cloud for development purposes, allowing for things like cloud-based iOS application testing, and development on virtual devices instead of having to physically purchase all the iPhone's you'd like to test on (of course, you could just use the Device Simulator).

Wow, that is some cool technology. I am glad that Apple didn’t buy it, because it likely would have turned iOS only. Apple needs to cut it out with the lawsuits. If they don’t want Corellium to exist, they need to make a better product. This seems like the perfect use case for an inevitable Apple Silicon rack mount Mac Pro.

I remember seeing that AWS provided remote testing on real android devices hooked up in their data centers. Presumably they do something similar for Apple devices. I wonder if Corellium can complete with deployments like that?
