    There are plenty of other ways to host an app and this seems unlikely to be the most reliable, but it seems pretty interesting as another way for beginners to get started easily, going from messing around writing code to actually running a server for others to use, using only a web browser locally. Open source in practice, by changing code and seeing it live immediately.

    Will we start seeing a bunch of crappy chat servers? Forums? Federation?

    I wonder if repl.it is ready for what happens when it starts being misused? Though, Roblox is doing something similar but for children, for an extra fun challenge in moderation.
