I'm open to being wrong on this one, but even aside from this article being two years old, it seems like this is just an extension of an ongoing trend of fantasizing about unattainable people and making art about them. In that this isn't new aside from some technical details, there are already remedies in place regardless of if it's revenge porn or an abuse of someone else's right to publicity. Is there something larger to say about this beyond the ongoing democratization of 3d modeling tools?

Turns out, people like sex, and with some of the worst biological reasons out of the way, they have a lot of it.

I wasn't around for it, but I suspect the free love movement kinda ground to a halt with the rise of HIV and AIDS. Perhaps if those vaccinnes make it out there it'll make a comeback.
