I came across this video and website featuring the robot this weekend, after first thinking it was some Black Mirror style video. I'm both intrigued and concerned; intrigued by the level of technology and its possible benefit if it can actually do what it claims; concerned about the inherent privacy risks and data collection capabilities of such a device in a household.
Has anyone else come across this before, or something like it? What are your thoughts on this type of advancement in technology, particularly those that target children?

I don't like this. I know for a fact that this is promising way more than what technology is capable of right now. More than that though, I'm curious how long children will be receptive to interacting with a robot in this manner. I'm having a hard time imagining a child being able to view something like this as little more than a toy for very long.
