    I can't say I'm surprised. Recommendation algorithms, even at their best, push people into grooves, homogenizing results. At their worst...well the article speaks well to that. Mildly amusing...

    I was searching through my photo collection for cats to show my child. After several pictures of my cats, I started seeing various pictures of ethernet runs.

    I don't trust algorithms, especially algorithms that can't be publically audited and verified.

    I will not enter a self-driving car that I can't override in a millisecond.
