I used to get excited whenever a new video from Boston Dynamics came out. You'd generally see an amazing display of progress and achievements they'd made unseen in robotics before - at least to the amateur observer (me!).
It seems they've turned the corner where each new video is just marketing or a thinly disguised ad. Despite their efforts to show off the applications of their research, the enthusiastic kid in me just isn't interested in corporate marketing and I unsubscribed.

I would love to see some videos of more fundamental research into robotics if anyone knows of any channels.
