Reddit is preparing to launch "Community Points" sitewide, allowing any subreddit to add a custom token to their community

Has there actually been some new development to this? AFAICT the Community Points Beta page is the exact same as it was the last time this was posted about. And as pointed out by Deimos back then, the Beta has been in place for well over a year already, and nothing much has changed since then either. They may be planning to eventually roll this out to every subreddit, but AFAIK there has been no noticeable movement towards that actually happening since the program launched.
Hmmm I received a banner notification today inviting me to sign my subreddits up for the waitlist. I didn't actually check to see if anything had changed.
The feature was being tested in r/FortNiteBR ("Bricks") and r/Cryptocurrency ("Moons").
