Ux: Do you guys think it is hard to navigate comments on mobile?

Personally I have a small screen and pressing on [-] button is sometimes hard. Would be much easier if pressing on that whole title bar or even better the whole comment collapsed that chain. What do you guys think?

Edit: On Reddit mobile tapping on next to title collapsed the comments.

I think your suggestion would require layout changes as there are a few useful links inside that bar and accidentally collapsing a comment when you meant to go to its parent or go the the user's profile would or vice versa would be annoying.

On the other hand, think about users with a larger screen wanting to use with a single hand. Might be more convenient to have a clickable area on the right rather than reach all the way to the left.

I don't think the whole comment should collapse the chain. I'm going to click/tap on the comments themselves all the time, especially when trying to hit a link, and I don't want it collapsing itself seemingly at random.

But the collapse button definitely could stand to be bigger.

Not at all, I'm really liking the experience on mobile actually.

Hopefully there will be a native mobile app that solves this. I particularly like boost for reddit's style of collapsing comments. Just touch and hold the comment and it collapses the whole chain....

Just touch and hold the comment and it collapses the whole chain. Since I'm right handed, I have to reach all the way across the screen to click [+], which is a little inconvenient.
