Is there a way to turn my subscribed ~'s (not sure what exactly to call them) into a single RSS feed?
I'm interested in making a tildes RSS feed but I want to have a single one for all the ~'s i'm subscribed to. Is this possible?
Have you looked at https://tildes.net/topics.rss ?
From reading the code, it looks like it should only use your subscriptions but that would rely on being logged in so it might not filter correctly on all clients? I’m unsure.
This is where the code was introduced if you want to poke around: https://gitlab.com/tildes/tildes/-/merge_requests/127/diffs#0b8d045d95df9353846425c5397d0f814c2c9122
QuiteRSS has an option for RSS feeds that require logging in but it probably wouldn’t work since I have 2FA
For now it works fine without logging in but I think that pulls all topics
A possible workaround is using multiple feeds. Tildes supports per-topic rss like
https://tildes.net/~sports/topics.rss
I know that isn’t exactly what you want, but that seems like the job of an rss feed aggregator?
On my feed reader (miniflux) I have the option to add a cookie to use when fetching the feed. If you steal your Tildes session cookie from your browser and add it to your feed reader, that should work regardless of 2FA until the session expires (which looks to be after a year?). That is assuming Tildes doesn't do fancy stuff like binding the session to your browser, but I think that's probably not the case.
They're called "groups" on Tildes.
~tildes is a group.
~tildes.official is a sub-group.
