[SOLVED] Can someone please share how to make links look clean?
Many people here have a skill for converting a url from a mishmash of sloppy looking text into something that looks like a clean line but that is clickable and works like a link. Can someone please explain?
There is a link near the comment box labeled Formatting help that you should take a look at.
That link was added by typing this
[Formatting help](https://docs.tildes.net/instructions/text-formatting)
This is a link to exciting things!
It’s pretty much just markdown syntax (which may or may not mean anything to you, but knowing the name tends to help if you need to ask anything else!), and you can see the details in the formatting help section at the top right of the reply box if you need a quick reference.
[Edit] Beaten to it by seconds! Nice to be on a site where everyone’s this eager to help.
Thank you and @DeaconBlue

There's also a RES-like browser extension called Tildes ReExtended. Makes for easy linking. That one is for Chrome/Edge.
But it's also available on Firefox.
