Can't log in with Brave on mobile (iOS)

I've made a shortcut in Brave but can't log in. The sidebar is not clickable. Anyone know what the problem is?

    Hey! What do you mean by "shortcut"? I just gave it a try on Brave on my iPhone XR and everything worked fine.

      Well a shortcut from the frontpage to tildes.net. Did you just click "sidebar"?

        Yeah, I'm holding the phone vertically, then tapping on "Sidebar" makes the sidebar appear, where I can tap on "Log In".

    I had a similar issue on Android about a year ago, didn't find a way to resolve it just switched to Firefox.

      Worth trying, but I'm not sure if that would work here. On iOS, browsers can't use their own engine, even Firefox is essentially Safari with a skin and extra features on top. On Android, Firefox...

      On iOS, browsers can't use their own engine, even Firefox is essentially Safari with a skin and extra features on top. On Android, Firefox uses Gecko, Chrome uses Blink, etc.
