Major shake-up in world’s passport power ranking: Japan has been knocked off the top spot on the Henley Passport Index, and Singapore is now officially the most powerful passport in the world

I guess it makes sense that the US passport isn't as mighty as it once was since the remaining countries that don't have visa free travel are presumably more complicated.

What I found particularly interesting was this section:

Only eight countries worldwide have less visa-free access today than they did a decade ago

It's fantastic that almost every country in the world has made it easier for citizens to travel abroad! I'm hopeful that people having more easy destinations will increase global cultural exchange and reduce conflict.
