Anyone have any good theories for the show From?
Really into From right now. Sure, it's lost and has some shit writing, but I'm still addicted. Didn't know if anyone has any good theroies?

I think its a collective illusion and its sort of molded by the minds and emotions of the people inside.
I was thinking a sort of “car crash victim who lost consciousness purgatory” but Kristi’s girlfriend likely proves that these people are truly vanishing from the real world in real time.
I am not completely caught up (2 episodes behind), but at this point I have no idea. The electricity thing was several epsiodes long and still pretty inconclusive. The whole thing with the tree portals... so many weird and seemingly disconnected things. I hope it isn't like Lost, and the writers don't even know what's going on either ○_○ I am enjoying it anyway. I wonder if the monster creatures used to be real people, who got stuck there as well. Obviously people have been getting stuck there for decades at least. I am leaning toward aliens, but aliens that made a lot of mistakes.
So happy to see the discussion here, really glad the show is getting traction. Through Season 1 my wife and I were terrified it would be a one and done given no one watches Epic (now MGM+). As for theories, my wife and I have an agreement that we are going to try to avoid predicting what will happen next and just try to take the journey the show is giving us. It's hard to do for us, but we are loving what they are doing
I love and hate this show, the stupidity of some characters and the unnecessary risks they take drive me crazy. I'm currently 1 episode behind but I don't think there's any non supernatural explanation for any of this. The most "reasonable" supernatural theory that I can imagine is some sort of alien experiment, other than that it would have to be some sort of black mirror simulation type thing, similar to the movie "Ghosts of war".
I bing-watched 1st season on the weekend. I really like it. As to a theory, I'm thinking an experiment run by someone (or something).
