Plot Synopsis
Set in the 1990's, Park Ha-Kyung (Lee Na-Young) teaches Korean literature at a high school. To escape her ordinary days, Park Ha-Kyung decides to take one day trips on Saturdays. During her one day trip, she walks around, eats different foods, and meets various people. She realizes she receives comfort and empathy through her travels.
I read the synopsis and instantly knew this is going to be a good show. And it doesn't disappoint. Main character is so much relatable. The visuals are amazing, seeing the landscapes and beautiful places shot brilliantly. There are no overeaching plots, it's just the character going places, meeting people.
I feel the Main character is stuck in a monotonous job and, still she's really brave and independent to go out by herself. I wish I'd be like her. You'll love this too hopefully.
If you know similar shows like this please recommend.
Asked my wife (who is Korean) if she's heard of it. If she likes it or hasn't heard of it, we'll probably check it out together. Thanks for bringing it up.
