I want to like/use Dillo, but the problem I have is that it sits in an awkward space for a browser between terminal browsers like w3m and a full fledged browser like firefox.

I've found that it isn't the materialist view that is pessimistic, but rather the transition to it, where people feel unmoored by the destruction of old answers and are frightened by the immediate lack of comfortable new answers. But once this transition is complete, it isn't pessimistic to have settled into the understanding that the answers have to come from us, because they have always come from us, and then we can enjoy the universe for what it is as well as our place in it.

It's everyone's fault. It's our fault for being greedy, for being inconsiderate. It isn't as if you can't easily find information on the expected size of carry-on luggage, it's that people don't want to be limited to that, they want more and they don't want to have to pay for it, or they don't want to put their bag in the bin in a way that makes room for others. And it's the airline's fault because this behavior is extremely predictable consequence of the decoupling of bag fees and airline tickets.

Of course, airlines decoupling fees is also our fault, since we're always going to go for the lower price, and any airline that can make their price lower be decoupling fees is going to win against an airline that has the fees included in the ticket price.

I've been GMing a pathfinder 2e game for about six months now, and I really like it. I feel like it's a lot more balanced for all classes, and the system definitely makes it easy for me to modify things without worrying about unintended consequences (such as monsters that are much more difficult than their challenge rating would indicate).

Yeah. I'm not sure being overweight or obese while wearing a speedo is any sort of majesty, machismo or not.

“I don’t think it’s necessarily about having a body beautiful; there’s a certain machismo majesty to the garment (even when worn by a fuller figured guy). But if you’re going to wear them, you have to really own it.”
