Andor was such a great show. Came out right as I was wrapping up my degree so I was able to dedicate time to siting down and watching it properly and it was super captivating. The first few episodes are slow but then things pick up and pick up quickly. Went into it with decent expectations and it went above and beyond. I have super high hopes for the second season, hope they can make a show as good or even better than season 1.

I've been really disappointed with modern SW live-action content where the story takes place on the same handful of planets we've seen for over 40 years now, with either the same characters from the original run or characters related to them.

It's always frustrated me that Disney has access to this vast galaxy full of pre existing lore (including the pre-Disney Legacy extended universe) and yet everything they make seems to centre around the same 20-30 characters doing the same stuff in each show.
Dave Filoni's work are prime examples of this. As much as I like his work, not every show needs to be an endless montage of cameos.

It's easily one of the best written and acted shows in a long time! For season 2 if they can come close to matching season 1 I will be a very happy fan. As soon as the season was over we started...

For season 2 if they can come close to matching season 1 I will be a very happy fan. As soon as the season was over we started right back at episode one again which is a rare thing.

Andor could have easily been set in any other setting, realistic or fantastical, and it would have worked just as well.
