As great as the original is though, my personal soft spot is for the refit model used in the TOS movies for how it polishes the design up and brings it up to big screen standards. If you read up on its history, the amount of love and attention to detail put into that model is incredible but sadly beyond what the camera and effects technology of the period (even for a big budget movie) could fully capture. That model is currently on display at Blue Origin's headquarters after Bezos bought it at an auction, but I really wish it'd end up in a museum and be given a similarly high-calibre restoration, because it surely deserves that.
