          one episode was written by someone who predominantly writes soap operas and it shows -- I think it was right before the big reveal... If le Carre doesnt write a sequel for his story, just don't...

    Finished rewatching Shogun (2024)! It's been a short while since I've had a TV show completely engross me during a rewatch quite like this. There's just so much this show does well....

    Finished rewatching Shogun (2024)! It's been a short while since I've had a TV show completely engross me during a rewatch quite like this. There's just so much this show does well. Cinematography, writing, sound design, set design, acting, etc. Absolutely love it. It's a shame that the second season won't see a release until 2027 at the earliest since they were never expecting it to be as popular as it ended up being. I read somewhere that production is just now starting.
