TV Tuesdays Free Talk
Have you watched any TV shows recently you want to discuss? Any shows you want to recommend or are hyped about? Feel free to discuss anything here.

Watched the available episodes of Reacher season 4. I saw somebody here comment on it earlier that it was drivel, and I have to say the writing in this new season is significantly worse. One thing I liked about the earlier seasons was how quick witted and resourceful the main character is, and how even though he's a big dude, he's using his wits too, and for someone who turns to violence so often, he's genuinely a good human. The way he deals with people who don't understand him, wins them over, shows that he cares, all of that is pretty entertaining. There's much less of that in the new season, and the plotting is very loose, so even the thriller/drama is not as good.
That said, I watched them all because sometimes I just want to watch somebody punch things. It's not high art, but there is a lot of punching.
Is the writing worse than S03? That one was tedious to get through.
I didn't notice the writing in season 3, so either yes or I was primed to notice.
I switched to Lucky on Apple TV and it seems much better.
he sure kills a lot of people this time around. I still think the series is mostly honoring the books. I don't know why they cut out him thinking about what Joe would do etc, however.
Definitely check out Furious if you haven't already. Its the best one on right now.

I just discovered that they did a new transfer of Seinfeld in 4:3! HD and we can see the pothole! So far as I know its all from the UHD rips.
