I'm a huge Norm fan, but I don't really think a Netflix show is the format for him. He's always been so hilarious as a B lister outside the system who hasn't conventionally followed the rules of what it meant to be a host or a guest on a talk show. Unfortunately, realities of hosting an actual, professional show are the reason those rules exist. It's a lot funnier to make obviously shitty low effort jokes you spent five minutes writing on a podcast or as a guest on someone else's show. On your own show though, you're just going to not get decent guests ever coming back.
