Yeah, I did. Don't bother :P. Season 2 just had no clear vision and completely average writing. Sadly Fukunaga isn't returning as a director for Season 3; so I don't think it'll be as good as...

The issue with S02 is that everybody had such high expectations after S01 -- and when the story didn't have the same structure or feel, everybody was disappointed. Is it as good as S01? No. Is it better than a lot of other beloved shows? Yes!
The thing with S02 is that its a really slow burn with some decent action. The plot is confusing as shit, but if you can track it, its enjoyable. S02 is kind of like matrix ii- it's deeper with the philosophy. I found it as good as s01 but its strength lies along a different axis.
