Casting reveal for Wheel of Time: The Two Rivers Folk

There's a fair amount of excitement and discussion around the choices on Reddit.
Previously, Rosamund Pike was announced as Moiraine Damodred.
I'm excited for this show, but also totally worried and prepared to be disappointed.
With any TV show that's announced, I prepare for disappointment. I was pretty disappointed in Game of Thrones right off the bat - I only watched a few episodes and then stopped - but I'm actually fairly optimistic about this, mostly because I like a lot of what Rafe Judkins has done. I think the casting looks pretty great, and I've read that Brandon Sanderson is relatively excited about the show and is being consulted regularly. Add to that how Amazon killed it with The Boys and I think this has a good chance of working out well.
But I am still prepared for it to be successful and me not like it at all, and I accept that as a likely outcome.
i'm not a huge wheel of time fan, but i'm super happy to see more epic fantasies adapted to tv like this. i'm hoping this goes well enough that we get even more... it would be awesome to get an adaptation for something else sanderson, like the stormlight archive.
